David Devanny is an award winning poet, multimedia artist and PhD candidate at Falmouth University. His research uses both quantitative and qualitative data to perform a cultural analysis of poetry publication, specifically with regards to digitisation. David’s creative work has been published widely in magazines and anthologies, and in the Ictus Award pamphlet Wasps on the Way (Mews Press, 2012). His digital poetry has been published in 'Code {Poems}' (Bertran, 2012) and the smart-phone app 'Hidden Stories' (Cuttlefish, 2014) and it has been shown at a number of festivals and galleries. David co-runs the specialist poetry publishing house 'The New Fire Tree Press' and teaches on the English BA at Falmouth University.
