Odile Farge

Odile Farge has a Ph.D. in information and communication sciences. Her research activities at the University of Paris8 focus primarily on such areas as digital literature, software tools and digital culture. At the junction of computer science, the arts, humanities and social sciences, she uses a socio-semiotic approach to digital writing and concentrates her research on the digital humanities, analyzing creation tools from a critical perspective.
Her thesis is entitled A “rhetoric for creative authoring”: becoming aware of the strategies inherent in the creative authoring tools. Proposing a typology for authors’ positions.
Odile Farge is also a Senior Consultant and collaborates on major communication and digital projects for a large collection of corporate clients and has been working both in France and in Canada.
