Daniela has been collaborating with a vast number of archives, publications and research groups such as the Electronic Literature Directory (ELD), Electronic Book Review (EBR), Arquivo Digital de Literatura Experimental Portuguesa (Po.Ex) and the Consortium on Electronic Literature (CELL). She was involved in the creation of a digital archive dedicated to Fernando Pessoa’s Book of Disquiet and has collaborated with the research group Figures of Fiction (Centre for Portuguese Literature, University of Coimbra) in the construction of an online dictionary dedicated to Portuguese fictional characters . As a researcher, she is interested in literary theory, narratology, science fiction (particularly works that depict human-machine coexistence), multimodality, cyberculture, experimental literature, folktales and storytelling, media studies, materialities of literature, literary analysis, digital literacy and, last but not the least, archival and curatorial work. Presently, she is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bremen and she is focused on the development of the project “Shapeshifting texts: keeping track of electronic literature”.
